About Misty

Misty has been your elected City Treasurer since 2015. She spent her past career assisting the citizens of the Springfield area as a Vice President at a local bank. She has dedicated her time to helping others, whether it was in her capacity as a banker, City Treasurer or her contributions to the many non for profits she has volunteered with.

Misty’s goal is to bring New Leadership for a Better Springfield. She has been pushing for eight years to get the City of Springfield streamlined with software and online payments. As Mayor, she can see this through, as well as launch online applications for permitting. She has a passion for seeing Economic Development throughout the community, improvements in infrastructure, beautification of the city, and finding a solution for homelessness.
